If a claim is opened by you or the other carpooler, you will receive an email indicating that you or the other member have 7 days to respond to this complaint on BlaBlaCar.
The timing of your refund or payment varies depending on the response to the complaint:
- In general, a complaint is automatically processed within 7 days maximum, sometimes less if the two carpoolers respond quickly and agree on what happened!
- You may not agree with your carpooler, for different reasons or because of a simple misunderstanding; the amount of the reservation is then temporarily blocked. It is our team that investigates and contacts you if necessary to find out more.
Based on your answers, our team determines who should revert the booking amount and it may take a few more days to resolve and close the claim in the fairest way.
