Forgot your password? Troubles logging in? It’s time for a reset!
To reset your password:
- Go to Login > Continue with email
- Select Forgot my password
- Indicate your email address & press Send
You’ll receive a link (valid for 24hr) to Create a new password. You may need to check your spam folder and deactivate your mail-scanner feature or antivirus software, which could cause the link to expire or prevent you from opening it.
To change your password:
- Go to Profile > Account > Password
- Enter your current password
- Enter and confirm your new password
- Click Save new password
To create a password to log in directly:
If you created a BlaBlaCar account by connecting to Facebook or Apple, you weren’t required to create a password. However, you do have the option to log in directly by creating a password.
- Log out of your BlaBlaCar account
- Follow the steps above to reset your password
Tip: Don't forget to create a unique password and never share your password in emails or other communication.
If you changed your password and cannot login, here could be some reasons why:
You didn't receive a password reset email
Check your spam or junk folder. If you don’t receive anything from us, please get in touch with your email provider to check that our emails are being delivered.
You received a password reset email but it’s not working
If you find the email to set a new password and the link isn't working, that's because it’s only valid for 24 hours. Don't worry, you can ask for a new one.
You don't have a password
If you didn't set a password when you signed up for BlaBlaCar (ex.if you sign in with Apple or Facebook), you can create a password by following the steps to reset your password.
You lost access to the email address on your account
For security purposes, you must be able to access the email address associated with your BlaBlaCar account to reset your password. If you do not have access to your email address, please contact us.
