If your booking request was declined or expired

If your booking request is declined by a carpool driver or expires (drivers have a maximum of 3 hours during the day and 12 hours during the night to respond), you will not be charged for the ride, including the service fee

What may look like a charge is most likely an authorisation hold. When you request a ride, we put a temporary authorisation hold on your payment method for the full amount of the ride. 

It’s only temporary and will disappear shortly. If the charge is still on your bank statement after 7 days, you should get in touch with your bank for further details.
