Refunds for bus tickets

Your bus was late

Compensation for delays varies depending on the length of delay and the bus company's terms & conditions.  For BlaBlaCar bus, if the delay at departure was over 30 minutes and happened in the last 3 months, you qualify for compensation.

You've missed the bus

Your ticket is only valid for the date and time of departure indicated on your ticket. If you missed your original ride, your ticket does not qualify for a refund and cannot be used to board another bus.

You can no longer travel

Cancellation refunds vary depending on the bus company's terms and conditions. Check with the bus company you're travelling with to see if you qualify for a refund.

In order to qualify for a BlaBlaCar bus refund without fees, in the form of a voucher only, you must cancel your ride up to 30 days before the scheduled departure date. After that, you’ll be charged a cancellation & modification fee.

After cancelling, you'll receive a voucher (valid for 1 year) for the booking amount. Use this voucher to book your next BlaBlaCar bus ride on the BlaBlaCar platform.

 

Your ride was modified by the bus company

If you can no longer travel due to a ride modification or cancellation by the bus company, check the company’s terms and conditions to see if you qualify for a refund.

If your BlaBlaCar bus was cancelled or modified by us and you can no longer travel, get in touch to receive your refund.
