We suggest your journey to passengers along your route who need help getting to their destination. This is why you have received a Boost booking request for a stopover that you did not add. You can save even more on travel costs and your passenger gets where they need to go. It's a win-win situation!
As long as passengers haven't booked, you can easily remove or add stopovers to/from your ride plan.
To add or remove stopovers:
- From Your rides, select the publication
- Click on Edit your publication
- Click on Itinerary details > Manage stopovers
Just click on the city selected to remove it from the ride plan. If you want to update your stopover city, we'll also suggest convenient places easy to go to by public transport.
Note: If you have an electric vehicle, we recommend you add any stopovers you need to make during the ride to charge the car.
Adding a city
If you have a specific place in mind for a stopover, just add a city by:
- Entering the full address
- Selecting a suggested city
- Using your current location
Either way, we’ll suggest ideal meeting points for your stopover — you’ll be able to add up to six.
Your itinerary details
From the overview of your ride, you can see exactly where the meeting point is on a map and change it if you prefer. You can also export these meeting points to your favourite GPS application.
If you’re an iOS or Android user, you can export the meeting point directly to your GPS app on your phone in two different ways:
- From the Ride plan, click and hold the final destination.
- From your confirmed rides, click on Pick up passenger.
Note: When choosing where you’d like to meet passengers or drop them off for stopovers, remember that toll stations on the motorway may be challenging for passengers to reach.
Responding to Boost booking requests
You must approve or decline the Boost booking request before it expires within a maximum of 3 hours during the day and 12 hours during the night, by responding to the notification or selecting the publication in Your Rides.
If you decide the request fits your ride plan, click Approve, and your ride plan will be updated with the stopover. You’ll be able to receive regular bookings on the new stopover if seats are still available.
