Introduce yourself
Completing your profile allows potential drivers to get to know you more when reviewing your booking request. Be sure to include a profile photo and verify your ID — drivers prefer a complete profile!
Search for a ride
To find a ride, say where you’re heading, leaving, and when. Then pick a ride that works for you! If you need more info, you can message drivers before booking or check out their profiles to view their ratings.
Can’t find a ride? Narrow your results using search filters or set up a ride alert to receive notifications when a ride is available.
Book and pay online
Paying for a carpool ride
Some drivers will let you book instantly, while others choose to review every booking request. When you send the request, we will put an authorisation hold on your card and once the driver approves, you will be charged. You can find your booking and ride details in Your rides.
Important: BlaBlaCar will never ask for your login or payment details off-site the BlaBlaCar platform. If you happen to encounter a suspicious link via message, email or SMS, do not follow it and report it immediately.
Paying for a bus
Bus tickets can be purchased on BlaBlaCar. After paying online, you’ll get a booking confirmation email with all your booking and travel information.
In addition to buying tickets online on the BlaBlaCar’s platform, you can also buy tickets at one of our ticket sales points.

Enjoy the ride, and don’t forget to leave a rating! Leaving a rating means you’re more likely to have one left for you!
