If a passenger claims discrimination against you

Some passengers can have a bad experience carpooling. Remember that when you share a ride with BlaBlaCar, you agree to spend time with people with different sensitivities or opinions.

Here are some guidelines to help avoid appearing discriminatory:

  • Be respectful. Refrain from making offensive comments or remarks.
  • Don’t express an unwillingness to travel with specific people or groups.
  • Unless offering a Ladies Only ride, you cannot state that you only travel with, or prefer to travel with, female passengers.
  • You cannot cancel a confirmed booking or refuse a member, at a meeting point, or when the ride has already begun.
