Cancelling a carpool booking request

As long as a pending booking request hasn't been approved, you can cancel and won't be charged for the ride, including the service fee. 

Please note that if you use a credit card to book, we will put an authorisation hold on your card immediately after you send the booking request. Once you cancel the request, the money will be released.

Just select the booking request in Your rides > Cancel request and follow the prompts.
